Sawed-Off CrossFit

CrossFit is a core strength & conditioning program that delivers a fitness that is by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Elements of track & field, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman are combined in short intense daily workouts to maximize results for any individual. CrossFit teaches functional movement patterns, or, movements that you find in real life -pushing, pulling, squatting, jumping, throwing, carrying, and sprinting.

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

​The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

Internship

  • Intern is responsible for maintaining front desk responsibilities. 
  • Check athletes in to all classes as well as properly sign up new athletes. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of gym floor and commons area. 
  • Assist in set up for classes. 
  • Responsible for inventory of new equipment, clothing, and gym accessories.

Achievements 

I have learned the background work for what it takes to own a gym. I have learned about budgeting for equipment, monthly income, invoices for clothing and maintenance of gym. I have also been apart of three events at the gym, To the Max, Sip & Sweat, and Coaches Appreciation Night. Personally, my communication skills increased dramatically. I have also learned about time management when it comes to large events. To The Max event had over 100 people.
